Zogby Presidential Polls First to Include Peroutka-Baldwin Ticket
August 24, 2004
PASADENA, Md., Aug. 24 /PRNewswire/ -- "We are very pleased that the Constitution Party presidential ticket is now being included in Zogby's presidential polling," stated Michael A. Peroutka, Constitution Party presidential nominee. "Zogby should be commended for conducting their polls in such a fair and honest fashion. It only makes sense to include all the presidential candidates who have the ballot access to potentially win this race if you want an accurate snapshot of the American electorate's voting intentions."
The latest Zogby poll to include Peroutka-Baldwin 2004 is web-based, and allows those who have taken advantage of their free online subscription to cast their vote for president. It is the first nationally recognized polling organization to include the Peroutka-Baldwin ticket. Peroutka has generated strong showings in several other presidential polls conducted by groups like TenMillionVoters.com, Dixie Daily News and Business
Reform Magazine online poll. In the Dixie Daily News poll, the Peroutka-Baldwin ticket received 75% of the vote from likely southern conservative voters.
"There is no doubt that our electorate will benefit from Zogby's efforts, but I truly believe the American people would benefit even more if our presidential debate process was conducted in the same just manner," continued
Peroutka. "If the Democrat and Republican parties were truly interested in fulfilling the needs of the American people -- as opposed to their obvious desire to maintain a monopoly on presidential politics -- they would cease
excluding third party candidates from the upcoming debates."
The Peroutka-Baldwin ticket now has the potential to win 304 electoral votes; within the past week the party has been added to Iowa, Maine, Missouri and Tennessee bringing to a total of 29 state ballots on which they now
appear.
Dr. Chuck Baldwin of Pensacola, Fla., is the Constitution Party's vice-presidential candidate.
Paid for and authorized by Peroutka 2004.
