RE: LEAGUE ENDORSES MICHAEL PEROUTKA (CONSTITUTION PARTY) FOR PRESIDENT
The League of the South, the premier Southern nationalist organization, endorses Michael Peroutka of the Constitution Party for President.
Though the League of the South prefers to concentrate its political efforts on the State and local levels, it has decided to endorse Michael Peroutka for President for the following reasons: 1) Mr. Peroutka is a League member, and it has been our policy to support our members when they run for office; 2) he believes in States Rights and the right of secession; 3) he is a staunch defender of our embattled Southern cultural heritage; 4) he is an opponent of the current American Empire, and, if elected, would make every effort to return us to a republican form of government; 5) he believes that the triune God’s law, as presented in the Bible, is the foundation for all of man’s law and society; and 6) he, in our opinion, is the last hope, temporally speaking, of turning American back to the old paths of our fathers.
Under normal circumstances, the League encourages its members to withdraw their consent from the American imperial regime, and that usually means declining to participate in their rigged and fraudulent national elections. “Let me make this clear,” said League President Michael Hill, “the League would not be encouraging its members to vote in the 2004 President election, nor would we be endorsing a candidate at all if it were not for Michael Peroutka’s having entered the race. I believe Michael to be an honest Christian Southern patriot who is doing his duty by challenging the current one-party system of government. In truth, I don’t believe that America in its current sorry and depraved state deserves a President like Michael Peroutka. But perhaps God will have mercy on us, though we don’t deserve it.”
By its endorsement of Michael Peroutka for President, the League of the South does not mean to imply that it has in any way altered its stance on Southern independence. Nor does it mean that we have ceased to encourage our members to withdraw their consent from the Empire and its institutions. No matter who sits in the Oval Office, we believe that the South would be better off as an independent nation. With a Peroutka presidency, we believe that our path toward independence would be much easier than it would be with a Bush or Kerry in the White House.
